Linux Distributions
We offer a large number of free linux distributions, including Fedora Core 3, Gentoo 2004.3, Slackware 10.0, Ubuntu 4.10, Debian 3.0r3, Mandrake Community 10.1, SuSE 9.1 Personal, Yoper 2.1.0-4, Xandros 2 Open Circulation, Yellow Dog 4.0, Gnoppix 0.8.2.2, Knoppix 3.6, Knoppix STD 0.1, and PHLAK 0.2-1 for those who want to try GNU/Linux without a commitment.
This is by no means the complete list, and our offerings change almost daily. We're continually looking for completely free versions of linux that provide full installation ISOs without registration (which, as of the time of this writing, rules out Mandrake 10.1 Official, SuSE 9.2, and Novell Linux Desktop 9). We try to keep up with the latest distributions and usually have new releases available the day they're released. This selection allows you to pick the flavor of Linux best suited to your experience level and needs.
Note: We attempt to keep a wide range of architectures available for the distributions that offer them. With the exception of Yellow Dog, which is ppc/ppc64 only, we have all of these in their x86 release. If it's available we will also try to have x86_64 (amd64/em64t), sparc64, ppc, and ppc64 releases on hand. If you need some other old or obscure architecture (alpha, arm, hppa, ia64, m68k, mips, mipsel, s390, sparc, etc.), we'll try to locate and download the appropriate ISOs for you from a distribution that offers them.
BSD Distributions
We now offer two free BSD distributions for those interested in a UNIX environment with the BSD kernel. We have FreeBSD 5.3 and NetBSD 1.6.2. If you're really interested in a BSD-style distribution with the Mach kernel, we also have Darwin 7.0.1 and OpenDarwin 7.2.1, which correspond to the underlying system of MacOS X 10.3.
Microsoft Academic Alliance Software
Due to the terms of Microsoft's licensing, this software is only available to students who are currently enrolled in at least one CS class. The most accurate list of software currently available is hosted on the ELMS website. This site is the method through which we can distribute license keys to individual students. However, ELMS is not the most reliable server, so here is a local list of the software we have available for students.

Examples would include the Multiple Language packs for some software, the Checked/Debug builds of the Windows OS, as well as older versions of Windows and some specialty SDKs. We DO NOT have any copies of the core Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). We have some 64-bit builds available upon request.
