Announcements
A
clarification on TA's lab hours (1/10/08)
These are lab hours (office hours in the lab) that you may use if you need help, not lab sessions that you must attend. (You will work on lab assignments at your own pace.)
Indicate to the lab TA if none of the scheduled office hours is available to you due to timing conflicts. If you don't notify him, these will be his office hours for the rest of the term.
An extra note (1/15/08): The lab TA just makes sure that you have no conflict that prevents you from using all his office hours. Make sure that just some office hours have no conflict with your schedule, so you can see the TA if you need to get help. If all goes smoothly, coordinate the use of your assigned computer in the security lab (C-208) with your lab partner (two people assigned per computer).

Old
versions of lecture slides
These slides
are in most cases very similar to the slides I use in class. They can be viewed
on the page: Slides

Information Assurance—Spring 2007.
This page includes also:
1) Information on free software
for document conversion to the PDF format.
2) Midterm exam from Spring 2007 (contents of ours might differ, depending on
what is covered in the lecture this time).
3) Links to example exams from
even earlier offerings of this course.
