      1)  Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition





      2)  Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (including C# 2008)




download it from  www.microsoft.com/express
      [NOTE:  if you don't have much space on your hard drive,
            you don't have to install the MSDN part].

Once you get your CS account, you can:
        1) download VS08 from MSDN (Microsoft)  - see the staff in
             room C-208 if you need further help
OR  2) get it from the staff in room C-208 - bring your CS account
             info (in the email) & a blank DVD to swap

Zipping your application solution (folder of files/folders) To zip a project folder:
      - right-click the folder -> Send To -> Compressed Folder      - click OK
Savinguse your "I-drive" (= CEAS web-based storage CAE server)
    
   [You'll need an internet connection for uploading & downloading].
     
- zip the project folder
      - in your browser's address bar type:
                   http://files.ceas.wmich.edu
                   [1st time, if "certificate" dialog box pops up, accept it . . .]
      - login using your wmich account
      - browse to find the zipped file & click Upload
      - log out
2)  zip the project folder and email it (as an attachment) to yourself
3)  use a flash drive
