Using Laser Printers.
It is against department policy to use department's laser printers for class
assignments. Use line printers or other printers you have access to.
Tentative plan
Final Project Proposals Due: : July 9, 2003 (10:00AM) (project
discussions with the instructor should have already taken place and your
project finalized much earlier than July 9, 2003 so you can write a good
proposal)
Home Work I : Due Date : July 11, 2003 (10:00 AM)
Exam 1 : : July 21, 2003 (10:00 - 11:40 AM)
Closed book; One scientific calculator (no PDAs) and one single-sided
8.5 X 11 inch sheet containing various formula will be allowed. Attach
the sheet you bring in to your answer sheets. Exam 1 will cover materials
from chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Stallings's textbook, ns2
and any additional material covered in class. An excellent way to prepare
would be to understand the material (in contrast to simply memorizing);
understand the implications of various formulations, similarities and
differences among various techniques; solving the review questions and
problems in the book; understanding and doing the ns2 programming yourself
(in contrast to simply modifying the examples slightly and making them
work).
Home Work II : Due Date : July 23, 2003 (10:00 AM) - postponed
to July 25, 2003, 10:00AM
Midterm Project Progress Report Due: : July 25, 2003 (10:00AM)
