Financial Assistance - PhD Program
The department has available a number of graduate teaching and research assistant positions for which students accepted to the program may apply. In addition, for the advanced Ph.D. students, a limited number of doctoral assistantships are available. Applications for assistant positions should be sent directly to the Department of Computer Science. Applications for Fall term are normally considered in March; however, later applications will be accepted and considered for later additional appointments. A limited number of first-year graduate fellowships are available through the Graduate College. Applications for these should be sent directly to the Graduate College.
The deadline for the teaching assistantship positions for Fall/Winter semesters is March 15th. The Department Teaching Assistantship Application form is available from the CS office, please e-mail csadmin@cs.wmich.edu to have a form mailed to you. The form is also available on-line:
